Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan bakal guru dengan pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam menggunakan komputer untuk tujuan pengajaran dan pembelajaran, penyelidikan serta pengurusan; iaitu sebagai alat (tool), guru (tutor) dan pelajar (tutee). Kursus ini turut memperkenalkan isu-isu berkaitan aspek: Kemahiran Abad ke 21 (21st Century Skills), Web 2.0,Microsoft Office; OpenOffice.org dan lain-lain Perisian Sumber Terbuka (open source software - OSS) serta penggunaan media sosial sebagai platform pembelajaran.
This course aims to prepare pre-service teachers with the knowledge and skills related to using computers for teaching and learning, research, and management; i.e., related to computer as a ‘tool’, ‘tutor’ and ‘tutee’. This course also introduces issues related to the aspects of 21st Century Skills, Web 2.0, Microsoft Office; OpenOffice.org and other Open Source software and the use of social media as a learning platform.
